Financial Hardship Assistance

We support people on temporary refugee visas, people seeking asylum on bridging visas, people who are stateless and others.

We provide financial relief in the form of retail vouchers (e.g Woolworths and Big W) to individuals and families experiencing poverty and/or distress. We distribute vouchers on a need’s basis.

To ensure people are treated with respect, dignity, and integrity, we distribute vouchers rather than food packages. This allows people to choose what is best for them rather than us making the choice for them.

This program is currently funded through donations received through fundraising campaigns on social media and through a partnership with a bookshop, RoseyRavelston Books, which donates 50% of monthly profits to our charity. Check out https://roseyravelstonbooks.com/

We are only accepting referrals for this assistance directly from community contacts and can not accept requests for assistance from other organisations at this time.
